Apple granted a trademark for the word 280 [Article] – I could get on my soapbox about this one but really!? Is it possible to trademark any word in the dictionary? There has to be a limitation somewhere…
Facebook Launches Skype-Powered Video Calling [Article] – To be perfectly honest, I wish they would have come out with an iPad app before enabling this feature. Then again, maybe I don’t have enough options to chat with people face-to-face: Facetime, Skype (traditional), iChat, etc…
Google+ to require that profiles be visible to all, will boot private profiles after July 31st [Article] – So much for having a private profile. Then again, if you’re going to be on a social network you might as well treat everything as being public. Reminds me of what Eric Schmidt said:

“If you have something that you don’t want anyone to know maybe you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place”

This Accessory Turns Your iPad 2 Into MacBook Air [Video] – I’m definitely rethinking my purchase of the Apple bluetooth keyboard. Then again, it works with my iPhone and MBP. This is still freakin’ cool and it’s only $49!
How to Securely Tie Anything to Your Car [Video] – This will come in handy next week while helping a friend move. I only wish that I knew about it when I was moving to and from college!

Coffee: The Greatest Addiction Ever [Video] – Another validation factor that my addiction is just fine!
Card.io brings credit card visual swipe to mobile devs [Article] – Another great entry into the mobile payment system. My favorite part, no need for additional hardware. I’m still a Sqaure fan though!
Branch Holder Turns Dead Sticks Into Awesome Swords [Article] – This is what every boy needs growing up. Ok, there’s a little sarcasm there but this could entertain kids for hours.
How-To: Bottle Cutting [Video] – This video will show you how to make some pretty neat glasses from some of you favorite beer/wine bottles.
Skype coming to the iPad soon [Article] – It’s about time. I often wondered what Skype was waiting for… Then again, Microsoft might be the one screwing it up. There’s also a video for what it might look like.
Valve makes Team Fortress 2 free-to-play [Article] – Wohoo! The title says it all.
Hairrrr [Application] – Gross but pretty cool. This application turns your photos into a new photo but made of hair.

Control Your Garage Door Opener with Your Smartphone – Stop off at your local Radio Shack, spend a few bucks (about $40), and you can control your garage door with your smartphone.
How Plastic Bottles Are Recycled – There seems to be a lot of machinery and processing that occurs to recycle plastic. Does anyone know if we see a financial return along with the “saving the earth” return?
iCard ECG Turns Any iPhone/iPad Into a Powerful Electrocardiograph – Now here’s a space that could become controversial. Regardless, this is pretty darn cool!

Opena – iPhone Bottle Opener Case [Video] – An awesome iPhone case that has a bottle opener. Note: This is a KickStarter project and the cases are purely demos at this time.
First Look: Reeder leaps from the iPad to the Mac [Article] – My favorite RSS reader has finally come out with a Mac application. Unfortunately, it’s $10 and I’ve already purchased the iPhone version and the iPad version. Can I get this one for free? Please?
Bacon Ipsum Turns Your Dummy Text Into Yummy Text [Article] – Tired of using the normal Lorum Ipsum text? Use Bacon Ipsum instead!
The First App To Use iPad 2 Smart Cover Is Now Available For Download [VIDEO] – The folks over at Evernote have done it again. I wish I had this app and an iPad back in college. This may have made studying fun – Ok, I don’t think anything can make studying fun.
Cupertino Mayor: “No chance we are saying no” to Apple’s stunning Mothership headquarters [Article/Video] – Dear Apple, this facility looks AMAZING! I wonder what kind of futuristic technology will be on the inside…

Web Hosting Geeks – A great website that ranks various webhosts on certain criteria. Some of the criteria includes: Top 10 Hosts, cPanel, Green Hosting, Budget, Reselling, and a ton more.
Rain Running – A great motivational blog post by Chris Guillebeau about taking charge of whatever it is you’re doing and not waiting for inspiration. The gist, build a habit and keep it up!
Our [Google] plans to support modern browsers across Google Apps – Long story short, update your browser or it won’t work with Google. This could hurt some businesses that have built custom applications on a set browser, like IE6. Then again, IE6 should just die!
Kid sells one of his kidneys so he can buy an iPad 2 – Just wrong but proving that today’s youth need to check their priorities. Disclaimer: I did not sell a kidney to get my iPad2 BUT I did wait in line for 4.5 hours.
LinkedIn to Launch Job Application Tool – The “widget” could be a total game changer for businesses with open positions. Easy to post, easy to apply, available resumes, “linked” references.
Google +1 is Available Now: Why it Matters & Why it May Not Work – One of my favorite things about how search is becoming more social is that I can now validate search results based upon people that I follow twitter and other social arenas.

Access Paywall-Free Content on Starbucks Wi-Fi Networks [Article] – If you enjoy reading the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, ESPN Insider, and Mediabistro you can read it for free at your local Starbucks. By connecting to their wifi you can get through the paywalls!
Download Audiobooks To Your Kindle Over Wi-Fi [Article] – Awesome news for those that have a Kindle and like audiobooks. However, this sounds like an oxymoron to me but hey, why not listen to audiobooks on a e-reader device…
Pogoplug Beta turns your computer into a personal cloud server [Article] – You no longer need the Pogoplug device to create you own personal cloud. Pogoplug’s new software can turn any computer into an online personal cloud, storage device, and print server.
